We offer two types of training programs

I.  Seven week Training – Instructor Course Training
This training is  for those that don’t have any experience teaching dance fitness. It will instruct step by step, how to cue movement patterns so that your students can follow you with ease and effortlessness. This skill takes time to develop and we will go through each section of class leaning how to do this. By the end of the seven weeks you will be able to successfully teach an entire class from start to finish with confidence and ease. This course also goes over in detail: Exercise Physiology, Anatomy, Safety and Precautions and much more. We meet twice a week. One night is lecture and traditional dance practice and the other night is Practical Training. I have had success after success with this technique in training and believe it is the best around for people to build professional teaching skills.

II.  Weekend Training – For dance fitness professionals
The 2nd type of Training Course is for those who have experience teaching dance fitness and are currently teaching step, hi-lo and/or a dance based class.

This is a weekend training and shows the fundamentals of teaching an African dance inspired class. We will go over the format of the class and practice the routines. There will be reviews on the fundamentals of exercise physiology, anatomy, safety and precautions, but the emphasis is on learning the style of African dance and the format of Tribal Dance Workout.
